GAIN Inc, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a nationally recognized provider of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness. Established as one of the first CARF-accredited ACT programs in the country, GAIN was developed to help individuals transition from inpatient psychiatric care into a more independent, community-based environment. The program is evidence-based and designed to drastically reduce hospitalization rates while improving long-term stability, recovery, and quality of life.

At GAIN, a dedicated multidisciplinary team offers intensive and individualized support to clients with complex mental health needs, including co-occurring substance use disorders, histories of homelessness, and repeated hospitalizations. Services include comprehensive case management, medication management, psycho-social rehabilitation, crisis intervention, supportive housing, and educational opportunities. Staff members meet clients where they are—in the community, at home, or at the GAIN Activities Center—to ensure they receive the support needed to thrive in everyday life. By combining therapeutic services with practical assistance such as transportation, life skills training, and advocacy, GAIN empowers individuals to overcome challenges, maintain stability, and reconnect with family and community.
