Echota Behavioral Health in Kansas, Oklahoma is a tribally owned behavioral health clinic operated by the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians. Open to both tribal and non-tribal members, the clinic provides compassionate, accessible outpatient mental health and addiction recovery services to individuals across Northeastern Oklahoma. Since opening in 2020, Echota Behavioral Health has focused on strengthening community wellness by promoting positive mental health, resilience, and long-term recovery in a welcoming and respectful environment.

The Kansas location offers individual therapy, group therapy, case management, medication management, methadone maintenance, and telehealth services to meet clients where they are. A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, physicians, nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, case managers, and peer recovery support specialists collaborates to deliver integrated, culturally competent care. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based practices, the clinic helps individuals address depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorder, anger issues, and co-occurring disorders.
