This acute stabilization unit offers hospital step-down and emergency room diversion with rapid assessment, crisis screening, and coordinated transition to ongoing outpatient or residential treatment programs. Length of stay is typically three to seven days, depending on individual needs and stabilization progress.
Services include detoxification and medical detoxification for individuals with psychiatric diagnoses, medical and psychiatric assessment, medication prescribing and monitoring, case management, and therapeutic group treatment. The program also provides peer support, family meetings, community referrals, and linkage to residential or community-based housing treatment options, with facilitation of inpatient psychiatric admission when necessary.
