Center for Discovery Tacoma offers specialized outpatient eating disorder treatment in the heart of Pierce County, Washington. As the only facility in the region providing both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), this center supports individuals of all genders aged 12 and up with flexible scheduling options up to six days per week. Located in the South Puget Sound area, the Tacoma location is a trusted resource for both adolescents and adults seeking recovery support.

The highly trained staff at Center for Discovery Tacoma utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY), and the Path to Peace binge eating disorder program. Embracing a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) philosophy, the program includes certified Body Trust® providers and trauma-informed clinicians who follow a body liberation approach. The CARE-CFD dietary model supports trauma-focused nutrition, responsiveness to the nervous system, and weight inclusivity.
