Caroline County Behavioral Health

The Caroline County Health Department Behavioral Health Division provides comprehensive outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services to residents of Caroline County, Maryland. Located in Denton, the program delivers integrated, person-centered care through clinic-based services, school partnerships, and a mobile treatment unit designed to increase access for individuals facing transportation or geographic barriers. Services are available during both daytime and evening hours to better accommodate the needs of individuals and families throughout the community.

The Behavioral Health Division offers individualized treatment planning that includes counseling, psychiatric services, medication management, and medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. Additional services such as group therapy, school-based mental health care, peer support, care coordination, and prevention education support long-term recovery and overall wellness. Accredited by CARF International, the program emphasizes compassionate, nonjudgmental care and works closely with community partners to connect clients to housing, recovery resources, and higher levels of care when needed.
