Brown County Mental Health Center, located on Gershwin Drive in Green Bay, Wisconsin, provides a full continuum of behavioral health and substance use services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Designed to serve residents who are uninsured, on Medicaid, or otherwise unable to access adequate care in the community, the center offers both outpatient and inpatient treatment options. Services include individual and group therapy, psychiatric medication management, crisis intervention, and residential substance use treatment coordination. Specialized support is also available through the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit (CABHU), which partners with Child Protective Services and Youth Justice Services to provide therapy, case management, and crisis services for youth with serious behavioral health needs.
The facility employs a broad range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. For individuals facing substance use concerns, treatment is available through counseling, intoxicated driver program assessments, and referrals to residential programs when needed. By integrating therapeutic services with community partnerships and sliding-scale payment options, Brown County Mental Health Center ensures that behavioral health care remains accessible and effective for those most in need.
Cannot say enough good things about Foundations. As a newly licensed foster parent, they go above and beyond to make sure that everyone involved feels supported. They are all so passionate about what they do, and it shows in their work! I could go on and on but I am so grateful we were introduced to Foundations and are so excited to be a part of this amazing organization!
A very valuable resource of services and information delivered in a professional and non-judgmental approach. In addition to regular community health care and mental health and wellness services, Vivent offers HIV testing and HIV support groups, needle exhange, Narcan education and dispensing, a food pantry and so much more, all delivered with care and experience. We need more locations in every city. Their value cannot be quantified.
I checked myself in to detox from alcohol. The woman that admitted me was very professional and kind. I did have to wait a while because she was already in the process of admitting someone else. I didn't mind and I didn't have to wait very long.
Absolutely amazing! For the first time I have a provider that actually cares and takes me seriously. I see two providers through Nystrom and both are great. I highly recommend this place up and down. I see one provider virtually which I wasn’t sure about at first but, it really works out great. It’s just like in person just over your mobile or computer device. Again, if you’re thinking of looking into this practice, don’t give it a second thought and contact them today!
