BHG Washington DC Treatment Center, located at 1320 Marion Barry Avenue Southeast in Washington District of Columbia, provides comprehensive outpatient addiction recovery services in a supportive and community-focused environment. The center specializes in Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR) using FDA-approved treatments such as Suboxone and Methadone to assist patients in achieving life-changing recovery. BHG combines medication with individualized counseling, group therapy, and family support to ensure patients have the tools and guidance needed to manage cravings, reduce relapse risk, and rebuild healthy, productive lives.
At BHG, the treatment philosophy centers on understanding substance use disorder and opioid addiction as chronic medical conditions rather than moral failings. Patients receive cognitive behavioral therapy, counseling, and medical assessments while continuing to live at home, work, and engage with their communities. The center’s dedicated care team—including physicians, nurses, counselors, and support staff—partners with patients throughout the recovery journey, providing compassionate guidance and evidence-based interventions. BHG Washington DC Treatment Center empowers adults and pregnant patients to regain stability, health, and independence in a safe and supportive setting.
I am so glad to hear that Vive has gotten DBH accreditation. Dr. Rosenblatt is a kind, caring and compassionate psychiatrist and very knowledgeable about addiction treatment. So glad to add Vive as a referral for clients.
As a healthcare provider myself, I deeply understand the importance of finding a good therapist you can trust. The Sterling Group offers a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can express themselves, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and be guided through challenging emotions and situations. Through working with Jess, I not only feel better but I have experienced tangible benefits and growth in my personal life. It is a relief to of found a provider who listens, understands, and genuinely supports me. Strongly recommend The Sterling Group!! They are a fantastic group of therapists.
I wish I could give Hope+Wellness a hundred stars. They worked with me and on my schedule, were patient and helpful, and I felt seen and heard. Dr. Hale performed my assessment and throughout the entire process she made me feel comfortable, and in reviewing the results, she explained her findings in a way that I could understand. Her assessment was extremely thorough and she provided clinical information, references, education, and accommodations in the evaluation that helped me ask for reasonable accommodations at my job. Dr. Hale is wonderful. Hope+Wellness treated me with more respect than so many other psychologists. I will recommend this place forever, and I am so, so grateful I found them.
Dr. Olele is a very good doctor. He is compassionate and he helped me to identify some inconsistencies that were provided by other doctors regarding my diagnosis. He takes his time. I do not like the concept of medication management as it doesn’t give the doctor time to properly evaluate you and make appropriate decisions. He provides more than management which I appreciate. I also like the fact that the visits are biweekly rather than monthly. It gives him time to get to know you as patient. He also gave me goals that were based on what I told him during our appointment. He is a wonderful doctor and it’s a good investment into your mental health.
Looking for someone to help you sort stuff out? I HIGHLY recommend these folks. Christie helped me develop the insight and skills I needed to navigate the end of a relationship, to figure out a new normal, to break out of depression and anxiety, to handle loss of family and friends, to quit a job and start a business, and more. I felt like I was connecting with a kind and thoughtful friend who wasn't afraid to nudge me toward my truths. I really appreciated the option for virtual sessions that worked with my sometimes hectic schedule and her convenient downtown location.
