Aroostook Mental Health Center

The Fort Kent Outpatient Center located in Fort Kent, Maine is part of Aroostook Mental Health Center (AMHC) and provides comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults across northern Maine. With a focus on personalized care, the center offers outpatient therapy, individual and group counseling, couples and family therapy, and specialized co-occurring disorder treatment for those managing both mental health and substance use challenges.

AMHC’s trauma-informed, person-centered approach ensures that each client receives an initial assessment tailored to their unique needs. In addition to core therapeutic services, Fort Kent offers psychiatric medication management, school-based mental health therapy, and access to Employee and Student Assistance Programs (EAP/SAP), delivering confidential, short-term counseling and referral support.
