The Madawaska Outpatient Center, located in Madawaska, Maine, is part of Aroostook Mental Health Center (AMHC) and provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for individuals of all ages. Focused on personalized, community-based care, the center offers outpatient therapy, individual and group counseling, family and couples therapy, and treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, the Madawaska team begins with a detailed assessment to ensure each client receives treatment tailored to their unique needs. Additional services include psychiatric medication management and support through AMHC’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Student Assistance Program (SAP), which offer confidential short-term counseling and referral services for workplace, personal, and school-related challenges.
