Washington County Mental Health Services

Washington County Mental Health Services in Barre, Vermont provides residential and outpatient behavioral health care for adults, children, adolescents, and families. Services include individual therapy, psychiatric services, medication management, residential services, intensive care services, and community support programming. An adult outpatient program and family services are available alongside more intensive levels of care.

The Community Developmental Services program serves individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injury, providing community- and home-based support focused on skill building, autonomy, and independent living. The program works with approximately 80 contracted shared living providers who can serve one to two clients in their homes, extending residential support into the broader community.
