Waccamaw Center for Mental Health – South Strand Clinic is a community-based outpatient mental health center located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, providing clinic-based outpatient treatment, school-based services, and outpatient services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. The center offers a wide range of services including individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric consultation, medication management, medication monitoring, psychiatric nursing services, psychosocial rehabilitative services, mental health assessments, psychiatric medical assessments, peer support services, consultation, education, prevention services, crisis counseling, crisis intervention, crisis supports, and crisis debriefing. The facility is CARF accredited and serves individuals living with serious mental illness (SPMI), substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders (COD).

The center also provides Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), a family-based treatment approach designed to improve family functioning and support recovery for individuals and families.
