SCO Family of Services - Ottilie Residential Treatment Facility
Residential Mental Health & Developmental Services Center
SCO Family of Services’ Ottilie Residential Treatment Facility, located at 85-70 148th Street in Briarwood, New York, provides intensive 24-hour residential care for children, adolescents, teens, and young adults with serious emotional disturbances and developmental delays. As the only New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) residential facility exclusively serving this population, Ottilie RTF offers a structured and supportive environment designed to meet the comprehensive mental health, educational, and social needs of its residents. The program emphasizes family connections, trauma-sensitive interventions, and preparation for reintegration into the community. Residents attend the Theresa Paplin School, a New York State special education program tailored to ungraded, non-diploma-bound youth, ensuring continuity in academic and emotional development.
