Safe Child Advocacy Center (SAFE CAC), located in Juneau, Alaska, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children and promoting healing for those who have experienced abuse or neglect. Established in 2001, SAFE CAC provides a child-friendly environment where a multidisciplinary team of professionals works together to deliver compassionate, comprehensive services for children and families. The center is committed to reducing the long-term impact of abuse through coordinated intervention, advocacy, and mental health support.
SAFE CAC offers a wide range of services including forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations, crisis intervention, and family advocacy. In addition, the center provides counseling for children and their families, as well as education programs designed to raise awareness and prevent child abuse in the community. As an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance and a partner of the Alaska Children’s Trust, SAFE CAC upholds the highest standards in child protection and advocacy.
