RI International – CSU, also known as the Fife Evaluation and Treatment Center, is a 16-bed licensed psychiatric facility located in Fife, Washington. This center is designed to provide short-term crisis stabilization for adults ages 18 and older who have been involuntarily committed after being deemed a danger to themselves, a danger to others, or gravely disabled by a Designated Crisis Responder through the State of Washington. With a dedicated team of psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health technicians, peer specialists, and resource management staff, the facility delivers round-the-clock, individualized care focused on recovery and stability.
The Fife Evaluation and Treatment Center emphasizes a no force first philosophy, creating a respectful and compassionate environment where patients can receive medication support, individual counseling, group sessions, and peer-based care. Their trauma-informed and peer-powered approach ensures that clinical expertise is integrated with lived experience, providing holistic and person-centered treatment.
