The Ranch of Opportunity, located at 1771 Old Palmer Road in Washington Court House, Ohio, is a specialized residential treatment facility for adolescent girls aged 13 to 17. Situated on a serene 22-acre ranch, the facility provides a secure and nurturing environment where girls can heal from trauma, behavioral challenges, and co-occurring mental health or substance use disorders. The program includes a six-bed Evaluation and Stabilization Unit for girls needing higher supervision, as well as an open residential unit designed for those ready for a more independent therapeutic environment.
The Ranch of Opportunity offers a holistic, trauma-informed approach to treatment, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, along with experiential and life skills programming. Educational support, recreational activities, and family involvement are central components of care, ensuring each girl receives a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan. With multidisciplinary teams and a focus on long-term recovery, the Ranch empowers girls to develop coping skills, resilience, and confidence to successfully transition back into their communities.
