Northern Valley Catholic Social Service (NVCSS) – Butte County, located at 10 Independence Circle in Chico, California, provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families throughout Northern California. The Butte County Counseling Program offers personalized care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family conflict, and behavioral challenges. Clients have access to a full range of therapeutic options, including individual, family, and group counseling, as well as crisis support and telehealth sessions for greater accessibility. Guided by a client-centered philosophy, NVCSS therapists integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and other proven techniques to create customized treatment plans that meet each person’s unique needs. I attended the Caminar Wellness & Recovery Center at the Fairfield satellite location/branch for a little bit over two years & three months from January 6, 2022 until March 13th, 2024. Trish & Mike were great employees in particular!
