NAMI Klamath Basin

NAMI Klamath Basin is a nonprofit mental health support & advocacy organization located at 1775 Washburn Way, Suite 14 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Serving both Klamath and Lake Counties, NAMI Klamath Basin provides free peer support, educational programming, and advocacy services to individuals affected by mental health conditions and their families. Their volunteer-led initiatives focus on reducing stigma, increasing public awareness, and empowering participants with practical skills to navigate mental health challenges. Programs include peer-to-peer support, family education courses, veteran-focused classes, and culturally responsive community programs for Hispanic/Latin American and Black/African ancestry populations.

In addition to educational and advocacy efforts, NAMI Klamath Basin operates a local HelpLine, offers wellness and crisis awareness training, and provides workshops for community organizations and law enforcement. Their programs are designed to engage all ages—from children and teens to adults—ensuring access to trauma-informed and evidence-based support for mental wellness. Through outreach, collaboration, and lived experience mentorship, NAMI Klamath Basin strengthens the local mental health network and empowers individuals to achieve better understanding, resilience, and recovery.
