NAMI Lexington

NAMI Lexington, located at 498 Georgetown Street, Suite 100 in Lexington, Kentucky, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and caregivers affected by serious and persistent mental illness. The organization provides advocacy, education, outreach, and support programs designed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help individuals acquire the skills and resources needed to manage their symptoms and participate fully in their communities. Serving central Kentucky, NAMI Lexington also partners with organizations across the Commonwealth to expand access to its programs and services.

The center offers a variety of educational and support initiatives, including the NAMI Family & Friends seminar, which provides relatives and caregivers with detailed guidance on understanding mental health diagnoses, treatment options, recovery approaches, communication strategies, and crisis preparation. Membership also allows individuals to participate in advocacy efforts, helping to improve mental health services and fight stigma at the local and national levels.
