The Military & Family Support Center at JBPHH provides short-term, confidential clinical counseling tailored to the unique challenges faced by active-duty Navy and Air Force personnel, military couples, children, and spouses. With solution-focused interventions (typically up to 12 sessions), the center supports issues such as adjustment difficulties, deployment-related stress, anger, grief, and parent-child conflict. Their services include individual, couples, family, and child therapy, supported by comprehensive training in areas like suicide prevention, stress and anger management, and resilience building through the FoR US program for families under stress.
Beyond therapy, the MFSC serves as a hub for resource connection and education—helping families access employment readiness support, life skills training, relocation assistance, financial planning, and new parent guidance. It also delivers mandated services through programs like the Exceptional Family Member Program and offers critical advocacy and intervention via the Family Advocacy Program. With wheelchair-level resources, like loan closets and ombudsman/key spouse networks, the center stands out as a comprehensive military family care facility.
