KidsPeace Bowdon Campus in Bowdon, Georgia, is a comprehensive residential mental health treatment center serving adolescents and teens ages 12 through 17. Located on a 25-acre campus approximately one hour west of Atlanta, the facility provides 24-hour supervised residential care for youth experiencing complex mental health, behavioral health, and substance use challenges. The 80-bed campus includes specialized housing for both male and female residents, along with a separate, self-contained program for males requiring treatment for sexual behavior disorders. KidsPeace also offers TRICARE-certified residential services, providing access to care for military families.
In addition to residential programming, the campus features an award-winning accredited school that supports each student’s educational needs while in treatment. Therapeutic services are supported through the on-site Wellness & Behavioral Health Center, which delivers both medical and therapeutic care to residents and offers outpatient mental health services to the surrounding community. Recreational and experiential programming—including a ropes course, swimming pool, gymnasium, and structured team-building activities—enhances emotional growth, resilience, and recovery.
