The Institute for Human Services Inc – Sumner Center, located at 350 Sumner Street in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The facility serves as a hub for hospital referrals and post-acute medical care, with five medical respite homes—known as Tutu Bert’s Homes—available for homeless individuals discharged from hospitals who need continued monitoring but no longer require inpatient care.
