The Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network’s White County Peer Support & Respite Center, located in Cleveland, Georgia, is a welcoming, peer-run facility offering compassionate, non-clinical alternatives to traditional mental health services. Staffed entirely by Certified Peer Specialists with lived experience, the center provides personalized peer support, short-term respite stays, and a variety of engaging recovery and wellness activities. Its 24/7 Peer2Peer Warm Line connects callers with knowledgeable peers who offer guidance, resources, and a listening ear at any time of day or night. Adults experiencing mental health challenges, overwhelming life stressors, or those seeking to avoid psychiatric hospitalization can access private respite rooms for up to seven nights every 30 days in a supportive, home-like environment.
