The receptionist was great, very upbeat and friendly. Dr. Taylor and her assistant were friendly and competent. I wish there was more time to talk to the doctor and wasn't so rushed. Glad to see you have hired smother doctor to help carry the load.
I feel very fortunate that I was able to have TMS as a treatment option. I was able to be seen for "extended" therapy. I am using traditional therapy, medication, (used) EMDR and other methods for changes. The aforementioned has improved, but I felt as if it was my final chance to really see changes within myself. When I was essentially told that putting a magnet on my head could help, I though the same thing you are... "Is this electrotherapy of the 1700s and 1800s". Turns out it's slightly different. You aren't having convulsions from electricity, you aren't strapped to a table, you aren't talked to as if you're insane and you aren't going to be a shell of who you were.
This recovery center is the only program out of 4 facilities that I’ve been to that actually helped me. They stood by me when I needed help and then walked with me when I needed guidance on how to stay on a track that progresses forward. I was stabilized and then assured longevity through the program, material, structure, and most importantly, kindness and love.
