Shawna is a great therapist. I've utilized her tools during different stages of my life and she's been incredibly helpful. She has a great way of placing things in perspective and allowing you to see current situations from a different lens. Most importantly however she's compassionate. She allows for a safe space to just "be" and start to understand how to move past current roadblocks one might be facing. She's excellent! Thank you for all that you do Shawna!
Dr. Andrews and his team make you feel so welcome and comfortable. They respond to calls and texts within the same day. After being to countless therapists over the years, I was so grateful to be referred to Dr. Andrews for my daughter. He was able to build a connection with her and get her to open up. I highly recommend Charleston Medicine and Behavioral Health!
Dr Byrne is an exceptional provider and has helped me through a very difficult time in my life with professionalism, patience, and strong medical knowledge and advice. I strongly recommend him as someone who listens to his patients and takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to health .
Dr. Cantrell has truly changed my life in just a few weeks. Unlike other psychiatrists I’ve seen, he actually listens—really listens—to everything I say without brushing anything off. From our first appointment, I could tell he genuinely cares and wants his patients to do well. His approach of slowly easing me onto medication has worked wonderfully, with no overwhelming side effects, and I feel better than I have in a long time. What stands out the most is his willingness to adjust treatment based on how I’m feeling. If something isn’t working, he doesn’t hesitate to try a different approach rather than forcing a medication that doesn’t feel right. It’s refreshing to have a psychiatrist who values patient input and truly tailors treatment to individual needs. I can’t recommend Dr. Cantrell enough!
