Astor’s Poughkeepsie Counseling Center offers inclusive, high-quality behavioral health services for youth and young adults ages 0–26, as well as support for their families. The center provides a wide range of therapeutic and psychiatric services, including individual, family, and group counseling, crisis and safety planning, medication management, and substance use screening and treatment. Treatment is provided through an interdisciplinary team using evidence-based methods and a strengths-based philosophy, designed to help young people build resilience and achieve lasting progress.

This location is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission, reflecting its commitment to excellence and clinical integrity. A sliding fee scale is offered to ensure affordability, and no one is denied care based on their ability to pay. In addition to treatment, the center also offers advocacy services for families and youth navigating complex behavioral or emotional challenges, ensuring they are supported both clinically and personally throughout the healing process.
