Aroostook Mental Health Center

The Ellsworth Outpatient Center, located in Ellsworth, Maine, is part of Aroostook Mental Health Center (AMHC) and offers a full spectrum of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults. This comprehensive outpatient facility provides individualized care through services such as individual and group counseling, couples and family therapy, and integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, the Ellsworth team begins each client’s journey with a tailored assessment to ensure the most appropriate and effective care plan. In addition to therapy and psychiatric medication management, the center delivers support through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Student Assistance Programs (SAP), offering confidential, short-term counseling and referrals to address personal, work-related, or school-related challenges.
