Houses of Hope of Nebraska, Inc., located in Lincoln, Nebraska, has been serving the community since 1962 with a mission to provide “a chance and a choice” for individuals in recovery. The organization operates three programs—Halfway House, Touchstone, and TASC—each designed to address substance use disorders and related mental health concerns while fostering long-term recovery. The Halfway House program provides a supportive transitional living environment for adult men who have completed primary treatment, with a focus on employment, counseling, and 12-step recovery. Touchstone, a short-term residential program for men and women, combines psychotherapy, nursing care, counseling, and case management through a partnership with CenterPointe. Meanwhile, the TASC program collaborates with multiple behavioral health organizations to deliver intensive community services, crisis intervention, and system of care supports for both adults and youth. Took my son here for the first time yesterday and it was such a positive experience the woman who works at the front desk is so personable and so friendly the atmosphere is very relaxing and comforting. My sons appointment went very well he felt very comfortable I would highly recommend
I've been going there for years. I have never had a problem with them. The staff including the receptionist's are friendly. They send you reminders about your appointment via email and telephone two days in advance of your appointment to help remind you.
Just moved to Lincoln and found Marc Johnson via Google search. So glad I did. It can be difficult finding a team to manage both mental and physical health in a new city. The new patient paperwork was sent to me virtually and was very easy to complete online. Setting the appointment online was super convenient as well. Upon arrival, checking in with the desk was seamless and I didn't experience any wait time to begin a new patient assessment with Marc. He was extremely pleasant to interact with and didn't seem to offer any judgements regarding medication Management which was so refreshing! I look forward to having him assist me in managing my ADHD. Thanks to Marc and the entire team!
Christopher Zubrod is truly one of the kindest and most patient and personable individuals I have ever met. My husband and I have been seeing him for couples counseling since 2018/2019 and have also participated in individual sessions. Over the course of our sessions, Christopher has given us nothing but thoughtful insight, exceptional support and care, boundless empathy, and counsel to help us grow as individuals and as a couple. My husband and I are two very different people with different personalities; Christopher takes the time to not only help mediate between us, but help us learn how to speak and listen to one another so that we can understand one another outside of sessions. When emergencies have arisen in the past, he has always worked with us to get us in as quickly as possible, or reschedule when needed. He truly takes the time to understand what we need, and each session is focussed on what we would like to work on. We feel comfortable sharing with him, and with one another, during our sessions, and have learned so much. He has always been lovely to our children, and is, overall, an incredible human. I would recommend Christopher to anyone - especially those with high anxiety, or going through stressful times.
Many wonderful people working here. From Express care to primary care and all the way up to dental and whole health. Very knowledgeable staff. And the volunteers are exceptional. Always there and quick to help. Marty is very quick to grab a wheel chair if needed and Greg was so meticulous with the rugs and chairs making sure everything h was straight.
