Dearborn Vet Center

Located in the heart of Dearborn, Michigan, the Dearborn Vet Center offers confidential, compassionate mental health care to Veterans, service members, and their families. Situated at 19855 Outer Drive West, this non-medical VA facility focuses on supporting those who have served with personalized, trauma-informed counseling services. The center specializes in helping clients manage and heal from conditions such as PTSD, depression, grief, anger, anxiety, and substance use issues. Services are provided at no cost and include both individual and group therapy options tailored to each person’s unique goals and challenges.

The Dearborn Vet Center employs a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In addition to individual therapy, the center offers dedicated support for couples and families, grief and bereavement counseling, and care for those affected by military sexual trauma (MST). Veterans from all service eras, including those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, can find a safe, supportive environment to reconnect with their mental health, navigate post-deployment life, and access critical community resources.
