Center for Emotional Health – Hickory offers expert outpatient mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults in the Hickory community. The facility provides comprehensive services for conditions such as anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, ADD, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Patients have access to a range of therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy, long- and short-term psychotherapy, and medication management tailored to each individual's needs. Children ages 5 and up are welcomed into specialized programs designed to support early intervention and development.
In addition to traditional therapy, CEH Hickory operates the Footprints program, which provides outpatient substance abuse treatment for individuals aged 16 and older who have completed detox. This includes addiction-focused therapy and medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol. The center also supports veterans through evaluations and ongoing therapy, and offers emotional support animal (ESA) letters for qualified individuals with mental health conditions.
