Astor's Hyde Park Counseling Center provides a broad range of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, young adults up to age 26, and their families. With a compassionate, strengths-based approach, the center offers individual, family, and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention, psychiatric care, medication management, psychological testing, and substance use treatment. The interdisciplinary team—consisting of child psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, mental health counselors, social workers, and family advocates—works collaboratively to support each client's emotional and behavioral wellness.
Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission, the Hyde Park location is committed to ensuring equitable access to care. No individual is turned away due to inability to pay, and a sliding fee scale is available based on household size and income. This clinic provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care tailored to each youth’s unique challenges and circumstances, including support for those with co-occurring conditions and youth who exhibit sexually harmful behaviors.
