American Behavioral Health Systems - Parkside

American Behavioral Health Systems – Parkside in Wenatchee, Washington is a CARF Accredited Crisis Stabilization Unit providing short-term involuntary and voluntary behavioral health and substance use crisis services for adults in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties. Services include crisis stabilization, psychiatric evaluation, mental health assessment, substance use assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, case management, discharge planning, and court hearings coordination. Bilingual and American Sign Language services, dietary support, and state and local transportation are available. Clients are referred by Designated Crisis Responders and may be admitted on voluntary or involuntary bases.

The interdisciplinary care team includes registered nurses, licensed mental health professionals, substance use disorder counselors, and psychiatry and addiction medicine staff. Conditions addressed include acute psychiatric symptoms, addiction withdrawal, behavioral health crises, co-occurring disorders, grave disability, danger to self, and danger to others. The unit supports stabilization and coordinated transition to longer-term behavioral health providers.
