AltaPointe Health – Behavioral Health Crisis Center

AltaPointe's Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), located in the Fred Delchamps Building in Mobile, Alabama, offers critical support for individuals experiencing psychiatric emergencies. This medically monitored, short-term residential facility provides both 23-hour observation beds and a crisis stabilization unit. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and licensed mental health professionals who deliver around-the-clock care.

The BHCC is designed to assist individuals struggling with serious mental illness and substance use disorders, delivering immediate access to psychiatric care, medication management, and therapeutic support in a safe, supervised environment.
